
On October 1–2, 2026, Myth Detector and Deutsche Welle Akademie (DWA) will present the fourth annual Eastern Partnership Fact-Checkers Conference, Unveil the Truth, in Yerevan, Armenia.
This year’s edition, Who Shapes Reality? Democratic Resilience in the Age of AI and Informational Autocracy, will explore the growing challenges facing information integrity and democratic resilience in an increasingly complex information environment shaped by artificial intelligence, information manipulation, and authoritarian influence. The conference will bring together fact-checkers, journalists, researchers, policymakers, civil society representatives, and technology experts from across the region and beyond to exchange expertise, foster collaboration, and strengthen democratic resilience.
The event is organized with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation (BST), and International Media Support (IMS), and in partnership with Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the Civilitas Foundation.
