Stephan Mündges is the Coordinator of the EFCSN, the association of Europe's fact-checkers. He previously worked as the general manager of the Institute of Journalism at TU Dortmund University, Germany’s leading institute for university-based journalism education. He was also one of the coordinators of the German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory (GADMO) and served on the EDMO Executive Board. Before transitioning into academia, he worked for 12 years for the German public broadcaster ZDF, focusing on his reporting on digital policy, platform regulation and disinformation campaigns.
