Millions of people are making money from their social media activity, but we don't have a good grasp of who these individuals are, nor whether platforms are effectively enforcing their monetization terms and policies to prevent incentivizing and financially rewarding harmful content and behavior.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to investigate monetization on different platforms, and learn how to use tools such as the monetization.wtf portal and the Meta Monetization Archive to support their research and evidence collection.
